The AMP Molecular Genetic Pathology (MGP) Review Course is a live event held biennially. The 2017 Course will be held Thursday, June 1 through Sunday, June 4, 2017, in Bethesda, MD. The course features 3.5 days of an intense update and review of molecular diagnostics that is primarily focused on preparation for the Molecular Genetic Pathology (MGP) Subspecialty Certification Exam, as well as other certification exams. Participants have the opportunity to learn directly from recognized experts in molecular pathology, most of whom hold the MGP certification.

This activity was planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and the Association for Molecular Pathology. ASCP is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

The ASCP designates this LIVE educational activity for a maximum of 26.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) TM. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

 

This continuing medical laboratory education activity is recognized by the American Society for Clinical Pathology for 26.0 hours of CMLE credit. ASCP CMLE credit hours are acceptable for the ASCP Board of Certification (BOC) Certification Maintenance Program (CMP).

 

SAMs Credit

This course is approved by the American Board of Pathology for 18.75 SAM credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Participants must successfully complete the online modular exams (answering at least 80% of the questions in a topic module correctly). To access the quiz, click on the "submit credit" button in your course or go to "my credit" on the menu to the right and click on "submit credit" for the appropriate course.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received by written notification through March 31 will receive a refund (less a $250 cancellation fee). Cancellations received by written notification from April 1 through April 20, will receive a refund (less a $500 cancellation fee). No refunds available after April 20.
